Error: Remote access to the NetWeaver Administrator is forbidden. See SAP Note 1451753 for details.

After you successfully install SAP NW 7.4 Java, first time when you try to launch the NWA page you get a 403 error

Remote access to the NetWeaver Administrator is forbidden. See SAP Note 1451753 for details.

You should apply SAP Note 1451753 to resolve this error. Find the steps below

FIX:

· Logon to Unix with <sid>adm user

· Switch to directory /sapmnt/<SID>/global/security/data.

· Open the file icm_filter_rules.text using vi editor.

· Comment all the lines using #

· Save the file and exit from vi editor.

· Restart SAP system.

· Log on to NWA using http://<hostname>:50000/nwa URL.

icm_filter_rules.txt file after commented out.

SAP system exists and is not suitable for this installation option

DIAGNOSIS:Valid instance types for this installation option are WD,GW,SCS,ERS,J2EEDI,J2EECI,TREX,HDB, but instance DVEBMGS00 has a different type. SOLUTION: Choose a different SAP system ID or uninstall the existing system.

PROBLEM:
If you get an ERROR DURING "SAP NW PO 7.4 INSTALL AFTER A SUCCESSFUL UNINSTALL OF PI 7.11"

Check
Check /usr/sap directory and if you see sapservices file that's the problem maker

Fix
Move the sapservices to sapservices.old
Clean the sapinst logs
Run a new sapinst
Problem will be resolved and sapinst will proceed to next screen

An error has occurred during the execution of the Configure SAP Control connection for central instance step

The sapcontrol service certificate is not trusted for host XYZ01, instance 0. For more information, see section "Verifying Certificates" in the SUM guide.

FIX 1:
Download the latest SUM patch in Service Market Place and rerun the process again

FIX 2: [Workaround]
Open a jump_config.txt file contained in the \*\SUM\sdt\param directory
Edit the last parameter value
/sapstartsrv/httpsconnection from true to false and execute the step again in SUM
