- Implement and configure the architecture defined by the PI Basis Architect
- Perform System Configuration of SAP PI (installation, configuration of Web AS, …)
- System Management (User Management, Exchange Profile Maintenance,…)
- Security Operations (e. g. handling of certificates)
- Implement the SLD architecture defined by the PI Basis Architect
- Conduct all activities that affect the administration and configuration of the SLD
- Administration: User Management, Transport of content (if required), etc.
- Configuration: maintenance of Business Systems, Products, Software Component Versions,
- Monitor all technical PI instances, services and applications
- Troubleshoot basis errors
- Root-cause analysis in basis area
- PI Monitoring knowledge (Runtime Workbench [PI < 7.3], Configuration and
- Monitoring or Solution Manager PI work center [PI >=7.3] etc)
- Understanding of PI architecture
- Understanding of basis (PI, AS ABAP, AS Java)
